‘Dales Doing It Together’ launched in March 2026, in partnership with local community groups and organisations in the Dales ward of Nottingham city.
Funded by The Mayor of the East Midlands’ Community Development Fund the project provides targeted community grants addressing local needs, activities for young people and support local volunteers, and bring community groups and organisations together to share resources and make a collective impact.
The community priorities below were agreed through community consultation and form the priority areas for grant applications and all applications – Large, Capital* and Small - need to meet at least one of these priorities.
A Community Panel made up of local residents, representatives from local groups and a local Councillor will meet to review applications and determine the awards.
The Renewal Trust is the Lead and Accountable Body for the programme, supporting the panel and administering the grant programme.
